Angelina Jolie Supports ‘Kony 2012’: It’s ‘A Wonderful Movement’

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Caption Dozens of celebrities have spoken out and/or Tweeted their support of filmmaker Jason Russell’s video “Kony 2012” since it hit YouTube on Monday and now, the movement aiming to bring down Joseph Kony (leader of the Lord’s Resistance Amy in Uganda) has gained the support of yet another huge star – Angelina Jolie.

“Well, it’s been a wonderful movement for a long time,” the mother of six told Reuters at a Women’s Day Event in New York City on Thursday of the social media push efforting the surrender of the ruthless warlord.

“I don’t think I know anybody who doesn’t hate Joseph Kony and anyone who works in the international field has been aware, and I’ve been to Uganda and Congo and been to the International Criminal Court myself and spoken with the chief prosecutor about the case and he’s the one that we all want to see in jail,” the actress continues.“So I think it’s great that more people are talking about it.”

The “In The Land of Blood and Honey” writer/director is also encouraged by the fact that so many youths have taken up the cause and are interested in bringing the guerilla leader (who stands accused of abducting more than 66,000 children and forcing them to became soldiers) to justice.

“He’s an extraordinarily horrible human being who, you know…his time has come,” Angelina added. “And it’s lovely to see that young people are [rising] up as well.”

While testifying in court during former “Desperate Housewives” actress Nicollette Sheridan’s wrongful termination trial on Thursday, series line producer George Perkins revealed another shocking death will soon rock Wisteria Lane.

Mike Delfino (played by James Denton) will meet his untimely demise on Sunday’s episode of the long-running ABC drama, Perkins revealed.

Denton was reportedly informed of his character’s impending death roughly two months ago, and the actor revealed details about his death to Entertainment Weekly on Thursday, saying Delfino will die “violently.”

“I [think it’s fitting] because he was such a shady character in the beginning. We weren’t sure what he was up to,” Denton told EW. “In fact, in the very beginning, [showrunner] Marc [Cherry] had this idea that Delfino might have mob connections and that’s why his name was Delfino. Then, when he had the whitest, WASP-y actor in town come in and be Delfino, he let the mob connection die.

“I think from the beginning he’s had this idea of Delfino and the mob and that criminal past. We just haven’t addressed it in four or five years,” he added. “It’s perfectly fitting and especially because they’re going to do some flashbacks in this episode that show his life flashing before his eyes. It’s going to be slow motion with scenes from the pilot all the way. I’m hoping some of that will be some of his criminal dark side.”

Lady gaga fires back in NY court at music producer

Lady Gaga is firing back at a music producer who claims he launched her career and is suing her for $30.5 million.

Her lawyer said in a court filing made public Friday the agreement at the heart of the suit was “unlawful.”

Song writer and music producer Rob Fusari filed the lawsuit Wednesday in Manhattan against the Grammy Award-winning performer. He said his protege and former girlfriend, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, ditched him as her career soared.

The lawsuit said they co-wrote songs such as “Paparazzi” and “Beautiful, Dirty, Rich.” Fusari also said he came up with her stage name and helped get her record deal.

According to the lawsuit, Lady Gaga and Fusari’s relationship turned romantic and then became a business partnership in May 2006, when they created a joint venture called Team Love Child LLC to promote her career. Fusari’s share was 20 percent.

But Lady Gaga lawyer Charles Ortner wrote in his response that the arrangement was “structured in such a way as to mask its true purpose — to provide to the defendants unlawful compensation for their services as unlicensed employment agents.”

Ortner wrote that Fusari and his company violated statutes that prohibited them from “acting as employment agents without a license and charging Lady Gaga an unlawful fee for their purported services.”

Fusari’s lawyer, Robert S. Meloni, called the claim “ludicrous” in an e-mail to The Associated Press.

“Fusari is a PARTNER in the Team Love LLC with Gag and her father (through their company Mermaid),” Meloni wrote. “Rob was no more of an ‘agent’ for her than she is a Roman Catholic nun.”

Ortner did not immediately respond to a phone message left at his office and an e-mail.

Lady Gaga won two Grammys in January: best dance recording, for “Poker Face,” and best electronic/dance album, for “The Fame.”

Victoria Justice & Nina Dobrev:

The tale of the vampire on Nickelodeon: I love The Vampire Diaries and was shocked when I saw my favorite girl Nina (who plays Elena & ironically enough her doppelganger Katherine) on Nickelodeon. So of course I had to Google it. Maybe it was her first acting gig, I thought; but in reality I found out it was her real life doppelganger Victoria! How crazy is that?!
Zooey Deschanel & Katy Perry: (Yes, I know I spelled it wrong, but I’m too tired to fix it)

This is a truly embarrassing flub. I thought Zooey was actually Katy Perry! When I saw Bridge to Terabithia and The Happening, I thought I was watching Katy Perry! In my defense she does play a MUSIC teacher!
Matt Moore & Adam Sandler:

I was watching Homeless for the Holidays and just kept thinking I knew the actor from somewhere. What has he acted in before I pondered. Then it hit me, he looks and acts just like Adam Sandler! It was crazy how much his facial expressions resemble Adam’s, same mouth and nose too!
Natalie Portman &Keira Knightley:

I can never tell these two apart! All I know is that I can name a few movies Nat has been in but have no idea what Keira has done. They just look freakishly similar. Oh, yeah I remember Pirates of the Caribbean (I remembered after I saw the movie cover).
