Super hit Bollywood biographical drama The Dirty Picture, which received numerous awards including the National Award for the Best Actress (Vidya Balan) and box office collections last year, will be soon remade in Tamil and Telugu.
Reports said that the makers of the Hindi version are looking at remaking the film in Tamil and Telugu and reigning actress Anushka might play the lead role in the film, inspired by the life of Silk Smitha, noted for her erotic roles! Sources also said that Anushka is the only one who could come close to Vidya Balan in terms of stature. More details are awaited.
